At Musselburgh ASC, we work closely with a number of partners to allow a flowing and free discussion about the development of our sport. We liaise with our partners to allow the best support possible for our swimmers, coaches, parents and volunteers. Our partners have a vast knowledge of their industry and their advice is invaluable.
At MASC, we believe that we are a community and that we need to work together so each of us reaches our maximum potential. We are proud to serve Musselburgh and the surrounding areas in East Lothian and beyond. We have strong links in our local community in sport and outside this too.

Lothian Racers refer disabled swimmers onto MASC when it is felt they would benefit from additional training and pool time (as a supplement their existing LR programme) or to transition newly classified or potential para-swimmers into MASC on a full-time basis where they are fully integrated into MASC’s training development programme with opportunities to compete in mainstream, para-swimming and disability events.
This unique relationship allows disabled swimmers to excel through access to increased coaching sessions, competition readiness and supports development through the Para-Swimming pathway.
|MASC enjoys a strong partnership with Splash Start Ltd who are long term Learn to Swim partners of the club, they provide professional and experienced teaching to children in East Lothian and the surrounding areas. Trials with MASC are offered when children finish their swimming journey with Splash Start as are the services of other home clubs in the region. MASC deeply values Splash Start’s partnership and also their services to the wider swimming community – it’s a fantastic grassroots to club pathway (initial lesson teaching at Splash Start through to squad coaching Musselburgh ASC).||Website|
